Ahahaha, that’s just wrong. And now you know my humor.
Moving on…thanks to all for the birthday wishes. My birthday was wonderful. Very peaceful, very relaxing. The DMV took all of 20 minutes, they made me do the stupid road sign test, I got stuck on the first road sign but the rest was a breeze. They even let me keep my old license. Which is weird. Why would they do that? I told someone in the waiting room that it was a good thing I don’t know someone underage in need of a fake id.
I ended up getting 23 Happy Birthday wishes on Facebook, 24 if you include the message from the Facebook people at the top of my newsfeed. Myspace must really be on the outs b/c I got no messages over there. Mayhaps its time to cancel the Myspace account?
The family took me to our Japanese Hibachi restaurant for dinner last night, and as per usual we had a wonderful time. Our cook was very entertaining, and the food was extra special yummy…especially the hot saki
Take a gander at what I got from the family for my birthday…
My mom and dad got me, well found my copy of my favorite childhood book, Minou. Enclosed was some spending money for NYC!
My sister got me Cinderella, b/c I forgot to get it myself before it got put back in the vault. She also got me a bag with spoons (!) all over it! It’s amazing.
So thanks again for a wonderful birthday. You all are amazing!
*kisses*

Woot for birthday presents! and sake.
it’s funny to hear people call it “hibachi”
sounds delicious though… if i felt better i’d totally be craving it right now
I want to go to a Japanese restaurant with my family! Sounds like you had a really great day - yeah!
happy belated birthday!
p.s. i love how you catergorized your blog roll! although, um, maybe my throat caught a bit when i saw “midwest” … hahaha. i guess even *i’m* guilty of thinking: cows and tractors: as synonymous with that word!
What a special gift from your parents! And the book is nice too. (hardy har har).
sounds like a hit!
Yum, sake is my fave. And it doesn’t make me feel weird like most other types of alcohol. Maybe it’s just the Asian in me.
And Cinderella, yay! Glad you had such a good birthday
That spoon bag is the shit!
sounds like a fabulous birthday!
and i love the spoon bag, very cute
Yay for birthdays! (Especially May ones - I’m quite bias since mine is in May too.) Glad you had a good time and the bag with spoons on it is just too cute!
Sounds fantastical!! And yeah, I’m kind of over MySpace too. It always makes me feel like I’m 15 for some reason…
happy belated birthday!
Sounds like a lot of fun!!
I want you to know that the second I saw that book, “Minou”, I had a flashback of buying it for you guys at a Waldons Bookstore in Findlay, Ohio. I also remember reading it on my toilet before I gave it to you. HA! It is a testament to how much I love you two that you even got the book because the watercolors are GORGEOUS, and I really wanted to keep it for myself. Glad I didn’t and it made your favorites list. Happy Birthday!
You’re welcome. Glad it was a special day
