Rainy Mondays should be Outlawed

A running list of things that ail me…

It’s raining
My shoulder is out of joint.
My head throbs with the slightest bit of movement.
I was late for work.
It’s raining
I can’t remember if I unplugged the curling iron.
My hair is flat.
I almost missed the exit for gas.
The gas pump automatically stopped at $32.51, I tried to pump it to an even $33 and got distracted. Give up on even number and finish pumping to $33.10
It’s raining
I’m wearing Crocs with socks and now my feet are soggy.
My Google Reader is overflowing b/c Blogger was being a bitch on Friday and kept telling me that my openid was incorrect. Therefore I couldn’t comment on any blogs. Therefore I haven’t marked them as read. Therefore I have twice as many posts to read as usual.
Did I mention it’s raining? And it’s a Monday? It’s just wrong.

Welcome to the gloomiest LittleSpoon you’ll ever encounter. I’m not having a good day. Nor does it appear like it will get any better. Also, I doubt the smiley count will rise above a big old goose egg today.

I feel like Daffy Duck with the rain cloud that continually follows him around…

Do you ever wake up and think “this is going to be one of those days”?

You know, one of those days when your fingers can’t type words correctly so you’re hitting delete almost as much as you hit the space bar?

One of those days where every time you walk, you trip?

One of those days when you realize it’s Spring b/c you can’t stop sneezing?

Well it’s one of those days for me. And it’s probably due to the fact that I chose today to start cracking down on my diet again. Because working out 5 days a week (even with a Jillian Michaels DVD) doesn’t do squat if you’re stuffing your face every chance you get.

Wish me luck that I won’t go off on anyone today as the weather and lame diet are bound to enable me to do.

I’m having the exact same kind of day. I was just wanted to scream because my boss slammed the bathroom door closed and I felt like my mom and wanted to scream “STOP SLAMING THE FRIGGIN DOORS!!”

I am having the same kind of day too! I woke up about 17 times in the middle of the night because the smell of bread was so overpowering (I live next door to a bread factory) AND because everytime I inhaled I got this overwhelming pain in my belly. And it’s gloomy. And I’m not in Florida.

Anyway, let’s hope for ALL our sakes, that today greatly improves!

Blogger kept telling me the same thing on Friday. I wonder why it was being so difficult?

And I hope your day improves… this weather is killing me. I wish it would decide which it wants to be already. And crocs with socks… mmmm.

I hate days like that. And I’m sorry you have to deal with it. Hopefully you had a nice weekend though and were able to fix the stuff from Friday.

it’s the same weather here. and it sucks. especially when the forecast comes on and it’s supposed to be this way all week. i feel your yuck.

and i always used to sit at work wondering if i unplugged things. now i’ve completely invested in new appliances that turn themselves off automatically in case i forget (iron, curling iron, etc.) i highly recommend this

(Not) Funny you wrote this today. One of my co-workers came in and announced “this is going to be one of those days.” She started off wearing her shirt the wrong way, then inside out before correcting it. And when she arrived at work, she poured the creamer in her cottage cheese instead of her coffee. Sigh. Just know today is only one day and tomorrow will be better.

mimmie…i have spent the entire day trying to pull fishing line out of my sweeper…finally got it out, after i had to take the sweeper apart, then finally figured out how to put back together, turned on the sweeper and phweeeew the belt broke, had to go to Sears, since it is a very EXPENSIVE Kenmore, hmmmm am I supposed to use a period anywhere? any how it is POURING DOWN RAIN….and oh by the way the burnt up belt is all over my pretty french nails…….hoooooo hummmmm…..see you this weekend…can’t wait…
