I love the smell of spring. Especially spring rain. It smells so clean and fresh and new. It’s wonderful. Give me some open windows and a good book on a warm spring day and I’m happy

Last night I finished off a bottle of lotion. This is a huge feat for me. (And my sister) I took a lot of pleasure in throwing the empty bottle away last night. One bottle down, 864589236 bottles to go.
- Sometimes, I get really excited about paying bills. It gives me this weird sense of accomplishment. And while I’d rather not be paying exorbitant amounts of money each paycheck to bills I stupidly acquired it still gives me the warm fuzzies.
- No matter how hard I try I cannot spell the word guarantee without spell check. That time? yep, spell checked Another annoying word that is often misspelled by yours truly? Misspelled….something about the two esses confuses me
- I just finished putting away the last of the crap that I have deemed too important to throw away. The paper I wrote at 17 about Lewis Carroll and the fact that he is not in fact a drug addict but instead was a slight bit of a pedophile? Yep, still keeping that…and it’s totally put away and not stored in a cardboard box in my closet that is already too full of things that belong there like 6 pillows! and 5 comforters! (oh and Mom? Just because I’ve put all of those things away does not in fact mean that I am ready for the giant!purple!box! I’m not…just thought I’d make that crystal.)
- Netflix never ceases to amaze me. I get notified when my DVD’s are shipped and received. Nothing new…but I also get an email asking when the DVD actually arrived. Methinks Netflix takes their customer satisfaction very seriously.
- BlogCon08 plans are going great! Is it time for it yet? No? Two more months? Bah! I want it to happen now. Cross your fingers that this lovely lady will be able to secure us all an open bar! I so hear you on the lotion thing – I have about forty kajillion bottles to go through, and yet, still, every time I’m at the store? I think “Hmm, this smells nice, I should get it!”
At this point, I will not run out of lotion before I die. And also by “throw out”, I’m sure you meant “recycle”.

I love the smell of spring too. I am dying for lawn-mowing season so that I can revel in the scent of freshly-cut grass.
Also, the word that I always misspell is “millennium.” It’s that second N that gets me.

I LOVE the smell of spring rain, I feel the same way about paying bills, and Netflix? Seriously? They are HARD.CORE. with the customer service. Sometimes, though, it is irritating, because they say something will arrive a certain day and then I get pissy when it doesn’t.

I kind of get a strange satisfaction from paying bills and finishing bottles of lotion too. I think it’s the sense of checking something off of a list that gives us crazy organized-types that “high”!

I must admit that I am a pretty good speller, but I always get confused on the word success.
I love when I get that Netflix email asking when I sent the mailing….it makes me think back to actually putting it in the mail. I learned this past week that it takes an extra day for it to be in the mail if I send it from Captain N’s parent’s house then our place! Go figure!

Also? I’m like you in “liking” to pay the bills – not so much for the money drain, but for the big check mark and feeling of getting something done I have at the end!
