My husband is sneaky sneaky

I’m ridiculously tired. So tired in fact that I fell asleep watching PRun last night, sitting straight up. I woke up long enough to see that they’ve decided to do that stupid 4 people in the finale crap again, but this year with a twist! Boo, fashion week is already over and we know that all 5 showed collections so as not to ruin the surprise. When if you ask my opinion they should have taken two hiatus’s (haiti?) and then it wouldn’t have mattered.

But I digress.

Last night, I fell asleep early and I fell asleep hard. My husband came in and woke me up around 11:30? Midnight? 2am? I have no idea. But he came in to wake me up b/c he had just been outside and saw that it was snowing!

(I apologize for the insane blurriness but it was freezing outside! I couldn’t keep my hands still.)

I got out of bed and gazed at the snow asking my husband “why were you outside?” I’m always suspicious b/c of this quitting smoking thing that he might have a hidden stash and that he goes out to smoke once I’ve gone to bed.

He replied “I just took Ozzy out.” Satisfied with his answer, I went back to bed.

This morning I woke up and was shocked to see that the snow was still around! In fact they still haven’t plowed the roads! But like the good girl that I am, I got up and started getting ready for the day. As I was making our lunches my eyes fell upon this:

 

I stopped everything. I knew what was inside that freezer and I was so touched that he remembered.

Chocolate Ice Cream & Gummi Bears! My favorite My husband has gotten me this treat every Valentine’s Day. He always remembers. And I love him oodles for it.

We never really get into this holiday. The first V-day we spent together we had been together for 3 weeks. I got him bat-o-rangs, and he got me chocolate ice cream & gummi bears, a rose, and a stuffed pig. Now it’s just simply the dessert

The wheels were still turning as I remembered our first Valentine’s day…”So that’s how he found out about the snow! He went outside b/c he had to go to the store so he could surprise me!”

The only problem is…now I don’t know if he took Ozzy out last night or not!

Now I’m going back to bed for a couple of hours. In NC we never get full snow days
