Friday Night:
We finally got new phones!

This phone=Amazing!
It has no antenna, which is such a prehistoric thing for a cell phone. My husband says it looks like a space pod when it’s closed…I noticed it could be used as a mirror. It has ringback which is my favorite thing in the world. Also, I fully charged it Friday night and haven’t charged it since and it still has all of it’s battery power! Quite a difference!
Later on that night we had dinner with a friend at the Japanese Steakhouse and then went back to our apartment to play some Scene It. (I know, our life=awesome. You don’t have to gush!) More friends came over and we switched to Disney Scene It and then some Tiger. All in all it was a fun evening.
Saturday:
We slept in, until I had to get up and go to a wedding. Then after the wedding, I came back home and passed out. Saturday evening was spent being extremely low key and quiet, which was nice. We both had the entire day off, which almost never happens.
Sunday:
Went to church, went to lunch, went to Wal Mart, passed out again. When we rejoined the day I began this week’s domesticity. I began a load of laundry and started cleaning up the kitchen. In the process of cleaning, I noticed something odd. You know how I think the cats turned on the Christmas tree? It turns out they weren’t jumping and touching the ornament that turns the tree on. They were sitting! in! the! tree!.
We have an artificial tree and I painstakingly spread out every branch to insure there are no holes and that our tree looks as close to the real thing as possible. So you can imagine my shock when I look at our tree and see this:

Do you see the big hole in the middle? And the poor star? Our cats are brats.
Which is a shame b/c I got my box of my childhood ornaments from my mom this morning and I found an ornament that is very near and dear to my heart, not only b/c it’s from my childhood but it’s also an ornament that my husband and I have wanted to get since this happened last April to honor our puppy Angus or “Gus-Gus”.
In honor of Angus, we now have our Gus-Gus ornament.

And that makes me happy.
We also decided to find out who’s better at Disney Scene It (It’s totally me) and then watched The Emperor’s New Groove. Squeak Squeaker Squeak Squeaken.
*kisses*

Aw, I *love* Gus-Gus! I used to watch Cinderella over and over again.
awww! i used to have a fivel ornament from mcdonalds on my family tree, and it would “sing” the song from the movie fivel goes west! Love it!
awwww. And naughty cats!
remind me to tell you about my sisters cats (dog) and their tree… oh wait I mean “disaster 06″…
That made me sad
Poor baby.
I love that you got a Gus Gus ornament in his honor though. So cute!
It sounds like an awesoe weekend - I love the Gus Gus ornament! I also love that phone of yours!
The cats were in your Christmas tree? Haha!
I’m so glad my dog doesn’t know how to jump that high.
cats are definitely christmas tree wreckers! glad you guys finally got new phones. i’m itching for a new one too!
Bad Kitties! And tots cute phone. I just lost the my battery cover to my phone this weekend, blargh. How does one manage to do that? I don’t know.
Damn cats.
Gus Gus!
And I love your new phone. I have only had LG’s and it looks like that might be my next one!
When I had cats in college, they used to bat the ornaments off the tree and roll them around the house. And also eat tinsel. Which then came out the other end. Awesome.

We put our tree up yesterday and the cat is already nibbling the branches and drinking the water. Ugh. Cattens are bad!
I love Scene-It.
Though I occasionally can get a teensy bit competitive when I win.. I mean play. No, I mean win.
I have an LG phone too! I pretend LG stands for Lauren Graham.
DEFINITELY naughty cats! And can you believe I have yet to see The Emporer’s New Groove!!! And C doesn’t let me forget it. He LOVES that movie!
So glad you got a new phone! Now you won’t have to listen to that annoying battery-dying noise EVER AGAIN!
And Scene It? Is awesome. I have never played the Disney version, but I’m sure I would kick ass.
Kind of funny about the cats disfiguring the tree. Those naughty animals!
OH NO! That’s not Gus! It’s Jacques! http://us.movies1.yimg.com/movies.yahoo.com/images/hv/photo/movie_pix/walt_disney/cinderella/cinderella3.jpg

I used to call a guy I worked with in high school Gus-Gus. Funny!
I have my favourite ornament, too, and he is in far worse shape that Gus-Gus. (It’s a beat up starfish with googly eyes!)
And your cats are hilarious!!
Oh my gosh! I totally have that ornament! And one of the other mouse, the skinnier one (I think he wore a green jacket?). How crazy is that!
Also, a night of Japanese Steakhouse and Scene-It sounds absolutely wonderful. Don’t bash it. And your phone? Awesome! I love that it can double as a mirror! It was destiny.
Gus-Gus!!! I want one for our tree! And hello, I love your new phone. I’ve always wanted a flipper.
Rock on Scene-It. Play with me sometime?
